In 2008, driven by a vision to transform how organisations approach performance, Peter founded Verve Consulting Limited, which evolved into Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa and is now becoming BSEA Consult Limited. With over two decades of experience in financial and strategic management at the C-Suite level, Peter had witnessed firsthand the challenges leaders face—organisations struggling to connect their strategies to tangible, measurable outcomes. I knew there had to be a better way.
While leading strategy design and performance management systems for private local and multinational entities in East Africa, Peter recognised a recurring pattern: Many organisations had goals but lacked the tools to execute them effectively. Leaders were overwhelmed by complexity, and teams were unclear about their contributions to the bigger picture.
This realisation inspired him to create BSEA, a consultancy dedicated to simplifying strategy execution and empowering individuals and teams to become performance leaders.

Peter is a Strategy and Performance Measurement Expert and is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BSEA. Since founding the company in 2008, Peter has grown BSEA to provide strategic, simple and practical guidance and assistance to leading corporates, not-for-profit institutions and government owned entities in strategy formulation and implementation, organizational transformation, financial process design and improvement, financial management, performance and change management and automation.
